Logical backups in Scalefield are created using pg_dump and stored in a local S3 bucket.
These backups can be downloaded at any time for inspection or recovery purposes.
To access these settings, navigate to the service page, open the Backups tab, then select the Logical section.
Once enabled, you can configure:
- Backup time — when the logical backup should be created each day
- Retention period — how many days backups should be kept
The additional info panel displays:
- The configured backup time in UTC and local time
- The total size of all stored backups
All created backups are listed with options to download or delete individual entries.
